Heya folks, so you want to learn more about me? Well then, let’s get the formalities out of the way first:
- I am a licensed Naturopathic Doctor in good standing with the College of Naturopaths of Ontario
- I am the founder of ONE Health Services, an integrative health clinic in west Toronto (#LongBranch)
- I am a member of both the Canadian and Ontario Associations of Naturopathic Doctors
- I earned my degree in Naturopathic Medicine from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine
- I completed my undergraduate degree at Wilfrid Laurier University with an Honours Bachelor of Science in Psychology & Biology (#gohawksgo)
Oh, you didn’t want a run through of my resume? Okay, well then, let me tell you more about what makes me, me!
I am passionate, goal-oriented, determined and genuine. No matter how difficult a situation I’m faced with, I will never compromise my integrity.
I don’t think anyone should settle for achieving anything less than extraordinary.
I am an empath to the core, which makes my profession not surprising. I feel things so deeply which helps me to truly connect with and understand my patients, but that means I need to take extra self-care to prevent burn-out.
I really and truly believe in balance and moderation, which is the foundation of how I practice as a Naturopath.
I am passionate about working with motivated people who are ready and willing to go from “fine” to extraordinary.
I have a clinical focus on treating burnout and addressing the mental, emotional, and physical symptoms and conditions that result from it.
I have worked with hundreds of individuals with burnout in my clinical practice, as well as dozens of organizations including Trillium Health Partners, Wilfrid Laurier University and Toronto District School Board.
I am avidly involved in her community and is passionate about mentoring students and new graduates in the health field, as well as supporting small businesses and women in leadership. As a new mom myself, I recognize the unique challenges that women in the workplace face as well as the importance of having “work-life balance”.
Thank you so much for joining me on this journey!
In health,
Melanie
